Hi all!

A Peek in my Craft Space

Hi all!

I have promised a few people a peek in my craft room. I am still organizing it (likely a life-long thing for me!), but here it is in messy beauty:

Behind the door in the brown unit (a cd/ dvd unit from Ikea years ago) has most of my stamps stored in it.
To the right is a tool unit from Costco with drawers, storing my punches; blocks; and some of my candle making supplies.

To the left is the same unit. Straight ahead is an Ikea expedit unit that Mylove added an extra "shelf" to in order to match the height of the tool unit. You can also see my Cricut on there. I like to keep it handy to use, because if it is not handy-i don't use it!It has my papers in baskets on the bottom and miscellany that should be sorted through and made neater! I have a really neat magnetic frame from CM that I will be hanging on the empty wall, along with (if there is space) a frame of chicken wire to hang cards from.

My large expedite unit with a "tower" one on top. Um, I have not bothered stripping off the protective plastic on the doors yet (blush), it has only been a year! you can see my CTMH ink towers on one of the shelves, baskets with supplies or cards; ribbon that needs some tidying.

I have a window to my room opening up into the other room so I can watch tv if I want and it gives me more light. the microwave is for melting my wax for candles.
The door is to the right of the window. Straight ahead is a cute little shelf I bought from a local "up cycler" last week. Right now, it is resting on a small, portable island from Ikea. It has my big shot on it and stores my dies and embossing folders and odds and ends on the shelves below. Don't look too close, or you will really see how messy my shelves have become!

Thanks for taking a little tour with me today!

World's Greatest...Moustache?

Hi all! This one has been brewing the last 24 hours. I am playing with Dynamic Duos CAS(E) this Sketch and The Paper Players:

The sentiment is popped up, as is the moustache on top of the sentiment.

Well, I did not get to the dessert option-perhaps a young mustachio-ed fellow?

CTMH supplies: white daisy card base; black and pacifica inks; perfect fit- dad stamp set; Artiste cartridge; blue epoxy bubbles.

Dang, Missed it Again!

I finally got to work on a card for Dynamic Duos. However, when I went to get the link, I found that it had already moved to a new colour challenge! I can only say, "dang".

However, it turns out that this will fir this week's H2H Challenge "Creature Feature".

Here is my card:

CTMH supplies used: zoology stamp set (retired; grey wool (retired) and blush inks; white daisy cs and card base; colour ready wood trinkets; grey and black pearls; distressed backgrounds stamp set.

Surf's Up Pinwheel Birthday

Hi all!

Lisa Arana has a sketch challenge called Wanna Sketch? This is my take on the most recent sketch:

The colours are showing dark- it is a really dreary day here today!  I am not sure that I "love" this one, it did not quite turn out how I envisioned it, but maybe it will grow on me. *wink*

CTMH supplies: retired cs (cannot recall the name of the colour); surf's up dp; kraft paper; blue and green dots.

Other: dies, sentiment and embossing folder  (SU!)

"There is Beauty all Around..."

Hi all!

I am sharing a home decor item that I have been meaning to make for a while now. It  is a gift for a friend using CTMH's February stamp of the month which I just loved- it had 4 different quotes about home. This one says, "There is beauty all around when there's love at home".

It  is not super flowery, but I am also sharing it with H2H's Let's see those May flowers challenge.

CTMH supplies: home sweet home stamp set (retired); claire dp; outdoor denim and sunset cs; chevron ribbon; white daisy ink and ep; sunset baker twine; blue collection and pink collection buttons.

Other: Ikea frame
